Marvered, hot-worked Glass and Pine sculptures for Puhdetyö exhibition, Helsinki Design Week

“This collection is what happens when a product designer draws shapes and takes them to a glassmaster, a blacksmith, and a bronze caster. I am always sketching shapes that have nothing to do with particular project. I took these sketches and mocked them up in 3D from a combination of foam, duct tape, and wax. These were then reproduced by skilled craftsmen in the actual materials.”
